Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification

Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax Exemption Certificate

When staying at a hotel for BSM related events. Our Accounting department does not want this form online, so please contact Cindy Zoller to get it.

Vehicle Rental Exemption Certificate

When renting a car for BSM related events. Our Accounting department does not want this form online, so please contact Cindy Zoller to get it.

BGCT's W-9

You might be asked for this form when making a purchase to be considered tax-exempt or when another entity is writing us a check. Our Accounting department does not want this form online, so please contact Cindy Zoller to get it.

W-9

Our accounting office requires a W-9 form be on file in their office, for every person or vendor we write a check to. Sometimes you will be asked for the BGCT's W-9 when making a purchase to be considered tax-exempt or when another entity is writing us a check. You will need to contact Cindy Zoller to request the BGCT's W-9.

501(c)(3) Letter

If someone requests a 501(c)(3) letter from you, please contact Cindy Zoller and she will process the request through our accounting office. It usually takes a few days to get this and mail the letter to you, so please plan accordingly.

BSM Tax Related FAQs

Q1. Is BSM a non-profit?

A1. Yes, BSM operates under BGCT's non-profit status.

Q2. Where can I find the W4 for my personal taxes?

A2. If you are a BGCT employee you should have access to your W4 form in our payroll system. You can also contact Bennye Bryant.

Q3. Does the BSM need to send out tax letters at the end of the year for gifts we receive?

A3. If the gifts come through Giving Fuel with the donor's contact information BGCT will send the end of year tax letter. If it was entered into Giving Fuel with the BSM's info or was deposited into the BSM checking account and then given on Giving Fuel without the donor's contact information you will need to send an end of the year tax letter. Here is a Sample Tax Receipt Letter. It should be printed on your BSM stationary. Please make every effort to enter gifts via Giving Fuel with the donor's information so you don't have to worry about these.
